Ample free parking, including accessible parking, is available just a few feet away from the market.

We are very happy to have been added to the Town of North Salem's senior bus ride service. second Saturdays of the month June through October 10am to 12pm.

To Register: Eligible Riders may register by downloading the form online at www.northsalemny.gov/seniorvanor by contacting the office directly at 914-669-5665 or recreation@northsalemny.gov

Eligibility: Riders must be a resident of the Town of North Salem and be 60 years of age or older. Riders must be independently mobile or accompanied by a caregiver/assistant.

Guidelines: After submission of the enrollment form, riders may begin to make trip reservations. Reservations are required for EACH trip and must be made at least one business day in advance by phone, email, online, or in-person. Reservations are first come, first served. Upon review of a rider’s residence, drivers will assign a safe pickup location based on driveway access; in some cases, this may require pickup at the road. One caregiver or aide may ride with the passenger if needed.

  • The North Salem Farmers Market is situated in the heart of the Croton Falls hamlet, adjacent to the Croton Falls train station, providing easy access to the greater Northern Westchester community and New York City metropolis via the Metro-North. Ample free parking, including accessible parking, is available just a few feet away from the market.

  • Referring to the maps, we will have a few areas for parking. When you enter Croton Falls on Front Street, you will take the first right and pass through a parking lot to reach a fork in the road. Do not park in this lot, as it is designated for permit holders. At the fork, a volunteer will direct you to one of the two lots labeled with a ‘P’ on Map A. If these lots are full, we will have additional parking at 14 Croton Falls Road that is a short drive down the road if you turn left out of Back Street. This location is marked on Map B. 

  • A diverse selection of produce, flowers, prepared foods, specialty items, craft goods, and more from local growers and makers. There will be some variation market to market, but you can expect…

    • Trees, shrubs & other plants

    • Honey/Maple Syrup

    • Entertainment (for all ages!)

  • This will depend from vendor to vendor, with some accepting SNAP.

  • Rain or shine, unless the weather poses a danger to vendors and visitors. For the latest updates, checkout our Instagram Page before coming out.

  • There will be some prepared foods at the market but we do not recommend relying on this option for a meal or snack. Feel free to bring your own or stop by one of the eateries in the center of the hamlet for a bite to eat!

  • Yes! As long as your dog is on a leash and is socialized with other dogs and children. Aggressive dogs are not welcome. Owners must clean up after their pet. 

  • There will be entertainment for all ages at the market including musical performances and crafts/activities for children.

    • No petitioning, fundraising, politicking, public protests, performing, or any other activity deemed by market management to be interfering with operations or the shopping experience for community members.

    • No smoking of any kind. This includes e-cigarettes.

    • No sampling or promotion of services, except by express permission of North Salem Farmers Market.

    • No sales of any products unless they have been approved by market management.

    • No bicycles, scooters, roller skates, Segways, or other wheeled transport. Wheelchairs and strollers, of course, are permitted.

    • No littering

    • No open speakers (radio/music playing or other media intended for public consumption)
